I received my BA in Rhetoric from one of the last programs in the country, which means I spent four years studying persuasion, influence and the power of words. Need a brand? I studied what makes some successful. Need to write a speech? I studied the most famous speeches of all time and I know what made them successful and persuasive. I've honed my skills working as everything from the features editor at a small newspaper to the communications director at an arts-related non-profit. I also have extensive research experience, from both my journalistic and academic backgrounds.
