I am a French native speaker with 15 years of experience in translation. I started out as an English teacher in France and later as a French teacher in the US. I now work as a fulltime freelance translator.

I lived in the US for about 10 years. I had the opportunity to work both in the public & private sectors. This means I understand the subtleties between the French and the US marketplace. I have the academic training as well as the street smarts to provide a translation that will be both accurate and easy to read for a French audience.

Do not rely on cheap translations by hiring a college student for your business. Just because someone has the ability to "speak" 2 languages does not make them a translator, just like owning a camera does not make you a photographer.
